A Personal Welcome Every Time

Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins isn't run by a property management company — it's run by us, the owners, who personally greet every single guest on arrival. That personal touch is something we take seriously, and it shows up in every detail: from the free firewood stacked by your fire pit to the free bikes and river tubes waiting for you when you arrive.

Our property spans 9 acres with over 300 feet of Chattahoochee River waterfront, tucked into the mountains yet just a 5-minute walk from the lively Bavarian village of Helen, Georgia. That combination — total privacy with total convenience — is rare, and it's why our guests keep coming back year after year.

We've always believed that pets are family, which is why every pet is welcome at Bear Creek — any breed, any size, with absolutely no extra fees. We don't just tolerate animals; we celebrate them. Some of our best guest reviews mention their dogs having the time of their lives on the riverfront.
